When you see the GS4 login webpage, input your correct email address, and the GenServ ID which you have been assigned and PRESS the LOGIN BUTTON and your will see the GenServ Main Menu.

There are two GS4 Menu selections - COUNT and MATCH which are still not finished and programming is in construction stage at this time.

SEARCH and REPORT selections on the Menu are working.

If you press SEARCH . you will see the following search sreeen.

If you use only the block LAST NAME block and input a surname then press search . you will see a listing of all that particular surname that is on Genserv.

NOTE: If you input a surname in the LAST NAME block and also input part of a first name - you will be searching the database for only the surnames which start with that part of the first name which your entered.

IE:

LAST NAME: Manis
First Name: A (the letter A)

Will search for all surnames MANIS which have a first name starting with an A

In this example - I selected to click on the BLUE LINK beside my name

with the link number 171

When I click on the link .171. the Family TREE report below is displayed to me on the screen.

Note that the screen displays -- 3 generations of ancestors which are in the GEDCOM . database named: MB5 with was loaded on the GenServ system.

Also NOTE the other BLUE LINKS behind the names of the ancestors displayed.

You may also click on any of the BLUE LINKS to show more ancestors.

I then clicked on the FAMILY link (DARK Blue link)on the left side of graphic screen and the GenServ system showed me the information on next page

The family Report displayed below is the # 171 family report.

Please note there are several BLUE LINKS on this reports

I next click on the VITALS link on the left which is the side for # 171

And the GenServ system showed me the screen on the next page with all the VITALS information which had been enter into the NOTES section of the GEDCOM data of the Genealogy program which had this family history.
