I understand there were more than 7,000 different civilian visitors to the three days of action, and we had more than 6,000 different reenactors to attend. We had hard rain much of the time but that did not keep the people from attending or the Sulters from bringing their tents and trucks to sell the items of interest. At Wilson's Creek the reenactor brought approximately 200 horses and approximately 50 different cannons in the action. It was a well organized event by those who were in-charge of the Wilson's Creek event.

At Wilson's Creek there are hundreds of acres of for reenactment of Civil War activities and wide fields (851) to insure that all reenactors have plenty of room for their hobby in June 2000.

The wagon in photo was set on fire by an explosion (848) and three tents next to the wagon were burnt during the first battle. Please take a look again at the wide field photo (851) to and find the wagon in the middle of that photo (just left of white dot, tent). Please note that many of these photos were taken at a distance of approx 400-600 yards. The wagon is about 600 yards away.
