What is GenServ ? & Who are we ?

9 August 2009

We have 184 Gigabytes available on-line for your data

We have been online since 1991, and on the WEB since early 1994.

The GenServ - Genealogical GEDCOM Server system has an extensive collection of GEDCOM databases on one computer system. The data in these databases is accessible through commands sent to the system via a regular email message and also via WEB access. The system then formats the request and emails a report back to the USER who sent the request. We have several different types of reports.

This system has a collection of GEDCOM (Family History) datafiles which have been sent to us by the subscribers of this system. A GEDCOM datafile is required for access to this system. Please read our GenServ Disclaimer so you know and understand how we handle your data. We hope you will consider sending us your own family history data for access to all the other GEDCOM Data we have on this system via reports.

Send us your own database for access to all the data we have. We have data from 50+ different countries.

NEW ! Family Datafiles are loaded every week !

Your family GEDCOM file is required for access to GenServ!

The GenServ databases have been collected from those individuals willing to donate their own family data for this project. We are very interested in the people who have small databases, and of course those who have large ones.

The only way to receive an Access-Code for this server is to send us a GEDCOM Datafile. We will attempt to load any size database you will send us. We are also very interested in the complete GEDCOM file, with all NOTE lines and other TAGS.

Read the Disclaimer for ALL data stored on the GenServ system
