How to Send a GEDCOM via EMAIL

You must completed the GenServ Information Form (below) before sending your first GEDCOM file to me

 

How to Send us your GEDCOM Data Via EMAIL
 

STEP 1.  Send your GEDCOM via EMail by sending a new message addressed as follows:
 

               To:   gs1 (at) genserv.com

     Subject:   GEDCOM for GenServ

STEP 2.  Cut the message below using Cut and Paste and send it as your mail
                Message entering the requested information

1.   I have completed the GS Info Form at

http://www.genserv.com/gs3/inforeq.htmll
Do this FIRST before sending this email message with your GEDCOM
file attachment.

2.   I am sending my GEDCOM datafile as a file attachment with this EMAIL message.
 

3.   My GEDCOM file attachment is named:

4.   My Email Address and postal address is:

5.   My Name is (Last, First):

6.   Enter your membership Code (R, S, T):
 

R.....REGULAR  MEMBER - $12.00
S.....SENIOR or STUDENT MEMBER - $6.00 (Senior is 60 or over)
T......TRIAL MEMBER - No Money, and I understand that my TRIAL
          access will not have WEB access to the GenServ databases.
          However I understand that I will have email access.

STEP 3.         FINALLY send your money to:

STEP 4.    Wait for your ID # via EMAIL
                 REMEMBER THIS: if you have sent us a GEDCOM file via EMAIL
                 and have  not received an acknowledgment within 36 hours you should
                 send a short message to check if your file was received.
                 DO NOT resend your GEDCOM file.
 
STEP 5.    Continue to wait for your ID # via EMAIL
                

Normally the minimum time is about three days. After 10 days since the acknowledgement,
if you have not yet received your ID#, send a message to

Send email to: gs1 (at) GenServ.com   

In that message include the following information:

            1. Your name
            2. Your email address and postal address
            3. The date you sent your file
            4. Where and how you sent your file
            5. What you named your file
